Wasting time
May 23, 2008
Have you ever thought about how you waste time? I love to run and meet with a friend three mornings a week. We are often pressed for time due to our children’s schedules, but we always make it out for our early morning run. The other morning we were talking about eating poorly. I know if I eat poorly the day before we run, my run is compromised. I just don’t have the energy I need to perform my best. Also, I think of how much longer I need to run to burn off all the extra calories I consumed. Had I just put down the second brownie, I would only need to run 30 minutes instead of 45! The second brownie was a waste of my time!
Where are you wasting time? Being unprepared for the next morning is a waste of time. Had you just set out the outfit to wear (or packed the lunches, or done the dishes) the night before, your morning would be less stressful. Inevitiably, the morning rush puts us in a stress mode. We tend to panic to be on-time, and we don’t think as well on our feet. Taking a few minutes before bed to be prepared for your morning is a valuable way to give yourself more time. Imagine how much more enjoyable your mornings will be with your family (or coworkers) if you start off on the right foot.
For us all, we only have 24 hours in our day. We can’t gain more hours in our day, it will never happen. We can only try to find out how we are not using our hours wisely. We should live our lives for today, but be prepared for what lies ahead tomorrow!

My First Blog
May 6, 2008
This is my first attempt at blogging and this is a whole new world for me. I have decided to join those who have information to share and need a place to share it!
I recently attended the National Association of Professional Organizer (NAPO) in Reno, NV. I met many wonderful organizers from across the country. This was a great opportunity to further my knowledge and resources in my industry. I will be very excited to share with you all the products that have intrigued me in my future blogs.
I am currently putting together a brochure/packet/book on moving tips and recommendations. I write all three venues because I am not quite sure what avenue I will take with it. I think I will have to start writing and see what will be best. I will keep you posted on my journey.
